Located in Villach since August 2020, MaxLinear Austria GmbH is a research and development center for electronic systems and MaxLinear’s competence center for mixed signal architectures and RF solutions for broadband communications. MaxLinear leverages this center’s expertise to develop analog/mixed signal RF front-end solutions for leading Wi-Fi 6 AP chipsets.

Around 100 employees from over 15 nations are engaged in the development of electronic products for digital business and home networks. These products are being used by leading network operators and private home networks worldwide.
