TECHNOLOGY PARK VILLACH INVITES YOU TO JOIN THE KIRCHTAG CELEBRATIONS

On July 30, Technology Park Villach will become a vibrant meeting place for music, culinary delights and community spirit as part of the 81st Villacher Kirchtag celebrations.

When Villach’s traditional Trachten are proudly worn, the sounds of folk music fill the streets and the aroma of freshly baked Reindling and hearty Kirchtagssuppe is in the air, many locals look forward to one of the most wonderful times of the year. The Villacher Kirchtag, Austria’s largest traditional folk festival, is just around the corner – bringing a week full of tradition, celebration and togetherness.

As one of the region’s leading innovation and business hubs, Technology Park Villach is celebrating Kirchtag during this special week and once again invites partners, colleagues and friends to come together for a relaxed and enjoyable gathering.

On Thursday, July 30, 2026, festivities will begin at 11:00 AM at tpv/HTCV/B01, Europastraße 12/E, under the motto “Technology meets Tradition.” As in previous years, the Bauerngman Villach and the Drobollach brass band will bring an authentic Kirchtag atmosphere to the Technology Park with lively music and traditional customs. Guests can also enjoy a traditional Kirchtagssuppe served with Reindling, along with refreshing drinks.

Please collect your food and drink vouchers no later than Friday, July 24, 2026, either from the Villach Chamber of Commerce or directly from the tpv office (Europastraße 12/E).
