Zusammenkunft der tpv Unternehmen beim tpv Business Breakfast

The first Business Breakfast at the tpv brought together numerous representatives of local companies—for networking, inspiration, and valuable insights into current developments.

On November 25, starting at 8 a.m., the auditorium at the High Tech Campus Villach (HTCV) filled with employees and executives from across the Technology Park. Among the attendees were representatives from Silicon Austria Labs, GPS – Gemeinnütziges Personalservice Kärnten GmbH, Campo, the Build! Gründungszentrum, the Silicon Alps Cluster, Extoll, STUWO, the Admire Lab, as well as members of the tpv administration team. Over coffee and breakfast, participants enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere to make new connections, discover synergies, and exchange views on current topics.

A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY

To kick things off, Vice Mayor Sarah Katholnig and Bernhard Lamprecht, Managing Director of the HTCV, welcomed the guests and gave a brief overview of the morning’s agenda. Both emphasized the importance of regular networking events in further strengthening the tpv community.

A special highlight was the keynote by Thomas Ladstätter from Silicon Austria Labs (SAL). In addition to presenting the company, he showcased the impressive long-term research project HiPoLas (High Power Laser Ignition)—an innovative laser ignition system that has been developed for more than 20 years. Ladstätter offered fascinating insights into the project, which is primarily used in space applications, and demonstrated how pioneering research is successfully carried out in Austria.

Afterwards, Bernhard Lamprecht shared updates on current developments in the tpv Technology Park Villach, including the commissioning of new e-charging stations, the introduction of the Green Zone, and the awarding of the “Healthy Kitchen” quality label to the kindergarten in the tpv. He also provided an outlook on upcoming events, including the 2026 annual preview with the tpv Kirchtag in July, the tpv’s 25-year anniversary in October, and a planned open house day for the companies.

These updates show that the tpv continues to grow—both in terms of infrastructure and as a vibrant community.

CONNECTING, SHAPING, THINKING AHEAD

Alongside the presentations, there was plenty of time for personal exchange, in-depth networking, and open conversations. The participants used the gathering to discuss topics related to the technology park, contribute ideas, provide feedback, and strengthen the foundation for future cross-company collaboration. It is precisely these dialogues that make the Business Breakfast such a valuable format for all companies located in the tpv.
