DATA PROTECTION POLICY

The protection of your data is very important to us. We therefore process your data exclusively in accordance with legal regulations (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection policy we’ll inform you of the most important aspects of how we process your data for use on our website.

 

CONTACTING US

When you contact us through the website form or by email, the information you provide will be saved for six months for the purposes of processing your inquiry and any potential further inquiries. We will not pass on this information without your consent.

Our website uses cookies. This refers to small text files which are stored on your device by the browser. They cause no harm.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS

Our website uses the functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics, Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA, 94043, USA. Cookies are used in order to analyze how visitors use the website. The resulting information is transferred to the content provider’s server and stored there. You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that the use of cookies is not permitted. Instructions on how to deactivate cookies can be found in the ‘Cookies’ section, under the point ‘Information about how to deactivate cookies’.

We have a corresponding contract with the content provider regarding data processing. Your IP address is recorded but immediately anonymized (for example, by deleting the last eight bits). In this way it is possible to get only a general idea of your location. The relation to the web analytics provider is based on “Privacy Shield”.

Data is processed in accordance with the legal regulations of § 96 Abs 3 TKG as well as Article 6 Paragraph 1 section (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interests) of the GDPR. Our aim in terms of the GDRP (legitimate interests) is the improvement of our services and our internet presence. Because the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is anonymised.

 

FACEBOOK PIXEL

Our website uses the remarketing function “Custom Audiences” of Facebook, Inc. (hereafter known as “Facebook”). This function provides visitors to our website with interest-related advertisements (Facebook ads) when they log in to Facebook. Through this function a direct connection to the Facebook servers is made when visiting our website. Your visit to this website will be transferred to those servers. Facebook automatically connects this information to your personal Facebook account.

More detailed information about the collection and use of data by Facebook, as well as about your rights and how you can protect your privacy, can be found in Facebook’s privacy policy. Alternatively, you can also deactivate audience-based advertising. In order to access this information you must be logged onto Facebook.

 

NEWSLETTER

You have the opportunity to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this, we need your name and your email address, as well as a declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. You may withdraw your consent and cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time.

As soon as you subscribe to the newsletter we will send you a confirmation email with a link you must click to confirm your subscription.

You may cancel the subscription to the newsletter at any time. You can also unsubscribe quickly by clicking the link which can be found at the bottom of each newsletter. There are also links at the bottom of each newsletter that enable you to update or delete the data associated with your account, for example your address information.

 

YOUR RIGHTS

In general, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transfer, withdrawal, and disagreement. If you believe that the processing of your data is in violation of the data protection law, or that your entitlement to data protection has been violated in any way, you may make a complaint to the regulatory authority. In Austria this is the Data Protection Authority (“Datenschutzbehörde”).
